Oh? You’d like to know about me?! How kind! Unfortunately, there’s not much.
I’m 22 years old and I live in scenic central New Jersey. I teach beginner’s French at a university. I have a very large, close-knit family so they may or may not sneak into some of my posts, regardless of topic. I love technology and literature; hence, I love my Amazon Kindle 2! His name is the Guide, as in the Hitchhiker’s _____ to the Galaxy. Sometimes it’s shortened to just “Guy”. I also have a wonderful fiancĂ© who is responsible for my obsessive ownership of the Guide. Incidentally, he also introduced me to Douglas Adams’ works all those years ago and it’s part of the story of our beginning. Now that’s geeklove for you, but that’s a story for another blog, another day.
As for my tastes in literature, I try to read from as many different genres as I can get my hands on. I’m trying to read 5000 books in my adult lifetime, since I started recording in 2006. I often re-read books (I marathon-read Harry Potter pretty much every year) but only count them here if I first read them before I started keeping track. I definitely love classics, especially when they’re in the public domain because (a) I’m cheap like that and (b) I love the timelessness of them. I really like dystopian literature and historical fiction, but I’m also down for children’s literature, easy “beach reads,” and young adult fiction. I also have a strange thing for books which have been turned into movies, regardless of whether I’ve seen the movie or not. I always welcome recommendations, and feel free to ask me for recommendations as well!

Hi Reina! I love your blog. I just wanted to wish you good luck on your goal. I would definitely recommend Atlas Shrugged when you get the chance.
Thanks Winford! I really want to read Atlas Shrugged! I’m really excited to read Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead but I think I might have to put them off until summer (after graduation) so I can give them the attention they deserve!
I\’m out of lgaeue here. Too much brain power on display!
